On August 2, 2013, the 1st Micromeritics User China Symposium and Adsorption Technology Symposium were held at Jilin University. This symposium was co-sponsored by the State Key Laboratory of Inorganic Synthesis and Preparative Chemistry and Micromeritics Instrument (Shanghai) Ltd, and attended by about 100 experts and users. The participants engaged in in-depth discussion and exchange of adsorption technology and hot issues in industry application. Prof. Zhan Shi from the State Key Lab. of Inorganic Synthesis & Preparative Chemistry made the opening remarks. Dr. Renliang Xu, General manager of Micromeritics Instrument Inc.(Shanghai) briefly introduced the development of U.S. Micromeritics Instrument Inc in China and presented the latest research into adsorption analysis and new products in the last six months. Several experts gave talks, such as Prof. Yunling Liu of Jilin University, Prof. Dongwu Chang of Tsinghua University and Prof. Zhen Tian of Shanghai Second Polytechnic University. At the reception dinner, Dr. Renliang Xu, General manager of Micromeritics Instrument Inc.(Shanghai), expressed his thanks for the strong support of the experts and users and extended his hope [...]
